Abstract

A request processor (102) includes a request handler (112) and a traffic controller (114). The request handler is configured to communicate requests (116) received from a source application (101) to corresponding service providers (104) over a network (108). Each of the requests defines a target action to be performed by the corresponding service provider on a target application (106). The traffic controller is configured to generate a user interface (120) and perform one of a plurality of traffic control actions on each of the requests based on a user control input (122) through the user interface. The plurality of traffic control actions includes allowing (147) communication of a request (116) to the corresponding service provider by the request handler, holding (148) a communication of a request to the corresponding service provider, and turning back (149) a request to the source application for manual fulfillment.
