Device for the treatment of tissue calcification, in particular aortic valve leaflets, characterized by the fact that it comprises a first ultrasound emission source that is adapted to provide ultrasound waves with MHz frequencies and a second ultrasound emission source that is adapted to provide ultrasound waves with KHz frequencies, both MHz and KHz waves being used for the said treatment. The invention also includes a method for the treatment of tissue calcification that is characterized by the simultaneous use of ultrasound waves with MHz frequencies and ultrasound waves with KHz frequencies.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour le traitement de la calcification de tissu, en particulier des feuillets de valve aortique, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend une première source d'émission d'ultrasons qui est conçue pour fournir des ondes ultrasonores avec des fréquences en MHz et une seconde source d'émission d'ultrasons qui est conçue pour fournir des ondes ultrasonores à des fréquences en KHz, les ondes en MHz et en KHz étant utilisées pour ledit traitement. L'invention concerne également un procédé de traitement de calcification de tissu qui est caractérisé par l'utilisation simultanée d'ondes ultrasonores avec des fréquences en MHz et des ondes ultrasonores avec des fréquences en KHz.
